@daDfarSpanTaistheKin not racist, it fact, most of the world knows china makes cheap nasty stuff most of the time.
been there done that, sad stories with turbines, jeffs turbines on the other hand glad i got one.
in saying this it dosnt mean i racist, i have no problem with chinese people just most products
January 27th, 2012 at 12:59 am
Nice video. Thanks for the behinds the scenes view. Disregard stupid comments from the likes of daDfarSpanTaistheKin

@daDfarSpanTaistheKin @daDfarSpanTaistheKin Can’t compete with the Chinese? We do compete with the Chinese everyday. Just ask all the Americans that have lost there jobs to them. If Americans could pay there workers 20 cents per hour and make them work endless hours in unsafe sweat shops then it would be a LEVEL playing field would’nt it. Some American products are as cheap as the Chinese products with better Quality. ABC just did a show on the subject.
I create AMERICAN jobs

Is there a video for the rotor and stator factory?
January 27th, 2012 at 5:21 am
@Wurdswurth no. those wood molds were done on a milling machine.
January 27th, 2012 at 5:32 am
Did you make the wood cut out on your own, and then send it to the molding factory?
January 27th, 2012 at 6:28 am
@rlewis1946 I’d say they will be equally not cheap for the copycat. The importance for healthy market is decentralized production, not monopoly. It’s acctually far more efficient to share all designs so that they become free market standards, that way regional production everywhare gains, including the inventor that get’s hes product into mainstream markets, increasing demand. Originals will allways stay in demand by default trend laws. Serials are easy to fake as well.
January 27th, 2012 at 6:41 am
Don`t let those chinks or muslims start making copies of these. Why the heck would Americans want to pay for their downfall? Buy American and invest in your children.
From the UK.

Hey Jeff, Glad see you are taken care of the ones who think you buy those blades from qaz off of ebay, dumb asses! I’m also glad that I do make a difference in employing America, and don’t support illegal’s. As I look at my 11 blade spinning today it gives me a warm fuzzy feelin inside!! Thanks for Raptor and God Bless!!
January 27th, 2012 at 8:31 am

I thought your blades were longer. I never dreamed they used such large machines for these. Keep pumping them out.

January 27th, 2012 at 10:43 am
do you make any larger raptor plades that are like 40 inches or more or just the 28 inch blads
January 27th, 2012 at 11:20 am
Awesome video, I am Dutch, but there is nothing wrong with being proud on a well made product. And it gives people good and decent jobs as well. I mean, I have nothing against some honest and decent fair trade, but what’s happening today with those big multinationals isn’t fair and decent at all. 3000 of the biggest American Corporations are located in two fake offices in Amsterdam in the Netherlands so they don’t have to pay tax in the USA.
Great tour and great product !!!
January 27th, 2012 at 11:48 am
yah stamp pat. # in the mold,
i liked the factory tour,
we use the same machines!
and have the milling machines too!

Those molds aren’t cheap!! Hope you do stamp/emboss those blades, even serial number them, because someone, somewhere will try to reverse engineer them… Good luck, keep up the good!! RL
